While I believe that the subject is the heart of every photograph or film, I also recognize the significance of the technical aspect. Skillful cinematography can elevate emotions and bring out the essence of the moment, leaving a lasting impact on viewers.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of my journey as a cinematographer is being part of international teams where we can share tastes, ideas, and knowledge. The collaborative nature of our work adds a beautiful dimension to the creative process. From the initial prepping and ideation stages to experimenting with new approaches and finally being on set, I relish every step of the process.
Before establishing myself as a cinematographer, I honed my skills as a camera assistant in Norway and as a Wescam technician in Los Angeles. During this time, I had the privilege of contributing to large-scale feature productions, including iconic films like Titanic, The Jackal, Hard Rain, 13th Floor, Multiplicity, and Murder in the First.
Today, I am based in the vibrant city of Berlin, where I live with my lovely wife and two wonderful children. Berlin's diverse and thriving creative scene provides an inspiring backdrop for my work, fueling my passion for storytelling through cinematography.
As you explore my portfolio, I invite you to immerse yourself in the visual journeys I have crafted, each capturing the essence of the moment and evoking emotions that transcend the screen. Thank you for visiting my site, and I look forward to connecting with you and discussing future opportunities in the world of cinematography.
